Located just ten minutes from the thriving regional city of Orange, Dragonfly Cottages provide boutique accommodation nestled in the stunning scenic countryside.

Set between some of the region’s best vineyards, wineries and restaurants, Dragonfly Cottages offer the ideal place to unwind and explore for solo travelers, couples, and two couples travelling together small groups.

Two equally stunning buildings sit on a hill with outstanding views at Dragonfly Cottages. Both cottages feature Super King size beds with luxury linen, huge windows, a gas log fireplace, air conditioner, rainwater and an open deck to take in the views from inside and out.

Enjoy the serene country atmosphere with superb uninterrupted sunsets whilst sheep and alpacas wander past along with the convenience of nearby Orange, unlimited NBN and a Tesla charger.

Dragonfly Cottages are well located for local bush walking and biking with the well-known tracks at Lake Canobolas, surrounding orchards, and vineyards to explore at your doorstep.

Meet your hosts…

Andrew and Helen fulfilled their dream to build their home on the fringe of Orange amongst the vineyards in 2014. They love nothing more than offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the serenity and the beauty of the landscape in which they live.

Passionate about the local region, wines and good food, Andrew enjoys fishing for local trout and a round of golf. A teacher and an artist, Helen loves spending time in her art studio.

The couple have a wealth of knowledge about the many things to do and see in the region. Drop them a line or give them a call to plan your visit.

“We had a wonderful stay at Dragonfly Cottages! Andrew provided exceptional service and made our stay fantastic. He checked in with us during our stay, provided advice and options for activities in the area and made sure our fridge was stocked up with complementary milk, bread, eggs, bacon, dip and biscuits on arrival which was a lovely touch. The house itself was idyllic! It had picturesque views, offered privacy and had all the comforts you want and need! To top it off, it was very spacious, had amazing floor to ceiling windows to capture the rolling hills and a VERY comfortable bed. The alpacas and sheep roaming the surrounding paddocks was the cherry on top! Can't wait to go back and stay here again.”

“Dragonfly cottages is by far the most luxurious accommodation I have ever stayed at in Australia, let alone the world. The cottage is scandi designed with minimalistic furniture. The best part is the winery rolling hills view straight from the lounge room window and also from the bedroom. The view is unbelievable. Whilst weather this week was sad and raining but sitting here with a glass of wine and gazing out the window is relaxing and comforting. The cottage itself offers free breakfast and wine on arrival. This is met by an excellent gas log heater (it's the works). The bathroom offers twin heater lights and the hot water heater is real good for those cold days. In summary we love this place and would definitely return for longer weekly stays.”
